Theres a TV show on Bravo (Sky 124) called The Ultimate Fighter, a reality show where 15 or so amateurs compete for two professional UFC contracts.

It's a bit like The Contender. If you can get past the fact that its yet another reality show it's pretty good.

For a start it has Randy Couture and Chuck... whassisname. The two most awesomest fightingest mofo's in UFC training all the lucky buggers, plus Dana, the UFC president hanging about.

I had to run and get a notepad when I was watching the first episode last night because of all the neat CF-like workouts Randy and Chuck were teaching them.

I think it's on every night at 10 and 11. Check it out.

That's Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell. He defeated Randy to take over the UFC Light heavyweight belt.

Did this not air in UK a few months ago or is this a second season?

Tom - way to ruin the ending, GOSH!

Tom, yeah that's his name. That was an excellent fight, Chuck's "I'm gonna get up now" style is pretty scary.

Daniel, maybe, I've only just come back to Yorkshire and got sky, so I wouldn't know if it's already been on. Seems like it's a first series.

If you don't know the ending, then don't read this months issue of Black Belt Magazine.

Who needs TV Guide?

I saw a late night MMA show on one of the local channels. Can't remember the name of it (something like "Enter the Glory" or such), but it was freakin' hilarious. Couple of mooks with thick accents talking about MMA fights. Had footage from local fights that looked like it was shot with a camera phone.
I like the UFC stuff better, and so does my son!
