Ok so the short story.
Been a climber for years.
Just started gymnastics a few months ago, did alot of handstands, planche progression and elbow levers.
and now my wrists are hurting : /
whenever I put pressure on them when my hand is pushed back (ie when you do a handstand) it hurts, and im sure thats not a good thing :S its not a terrible pain, but enough of a warning signal to me.
im not a big lad, im very light, as I said, climber..
ive really been getting into gymnastics and building myself up through it, and if I have to stop doing it from this that would really suck!
but if I have to obviously I will, but if so, is there anything I can do to still get some progess withough putting pressure on my wrists?
pull ups would be ok?
I do front levers atm and they are fun :-)
but is there anything I can do for my triceps / shoulders w/o pressuring my wrists???

Your wrists may adapt to the new workload, or they may not. You could always get your wrists evaluated and hopefully fixed by someone who knows extremity work.
pullups should be fine if you can climb w/o pain.

James I hade alot of wrist pain too from the
work load on them.
I made my own clubbell with an old baseball bat and olympic weight 5 or 10lbs put tight on the fat end.
I looked at some wrist exercises on the clubbell
sites my wrists are stronger and no more(very little) pain hope this helps
