The YMCA's collection of cds is really quite gawd aweful, and there's no ipod connection on their pa. At least one of the other people in the class has started bringing in some better music.

Awesome.

Rob Bass' rap "it takes two" was on the radio every 15 minutes when I joined my first gym in 1988. I recently uploaded that on my iPod and it takes me back to the days of reading MnF magazine, amino acid tablets, and "metabolic optimizer" shakes.

Sometimes old stuff can be okay for a while.

Sometimes the coaches won't even bother putting in a CD. The selection is all industry "Spin Mix" or "Aerobics Mix" or Kids mix. One of the coaches brought in his own mix once, but that disc has long since disappeared.
