Check out this story of a group of 3rd graders plotting to take down teacher.. Training for "5 year olds attack" doesn't seem so ludicrous now, does it?

Re: How Many Five Year Olds Could You Take in a Fight

Link in previous post is WFS (James, you've got enough experience to know you're supposed to do this).

I've seen writeups of the story that were less doubtful. Very creepy (and, of course, I immediately thought of this thread ).

I'm not all that doubtful of the possibility of actual criminal intent. I've met some pretty nasty 8-year-olds in my life, some as adult (not much harm to be done), and some back when I was 8 myself. I didn't find this idea impossible, at all.

Hmmm. . . . rereading the previous paragraph, I realize that there are two interpretations possible. The one I meant as I wrote it was that, as an adult, I've encountered a couple of pretty nasty 8 year olds (neighbors kids). But the other interpretation (that I know some nasty 8 year olds in adult bodies) is true, too.

Whoops, sorry bout that David. Sheesh. First I forget the (wfs), and then a few hours ago I got a traffic ticket for not stopping "enough" at a stop sign and not having my insurance "card" (it's so easy to fake I should just print one up that's good for 10 years).

Re: How Many Five Year Olds Could You Take in a Fight

I got 28 - with no martial arts experience. But considering I teach kindergarten once a day (music), I think that number may be slightly low. I also think in an actual fight, a couple of the little buggers may get confused and turn on each other, thus giving me even more of an advantage. I like the idea of throwing one from overhead to bowl down several at a time. And swinging one around in a circle by the hands might take out a bunch as well.

Hmm, hope no one at my school reads this...

36, but after last nights six hour flight and four hour delay, my blood lust toward the Barney set could easily push me above 40. (I kid I kid, but oooh rough flight)

Haha...I'm at 35 too...
I think it was the willingness to use the defeated children as a weapon...and the reach of my arms
