i am a little disappointed in myself because for the first 3 weeks of this bccc i was really diligent and upbeat and very on top of tracking my food. but i have been really busy and stressed out for the last 5 days ago, and i am not doing nearly as good of a job. i've gotten food from restaurants almost every day for the last 5 days, which is really unusual. and hard to track. but alas, here are my numbers.

9/1
cals: 1540
protein: 140 (+19)
carbs: 120 (rest day)
fat: 45 (-16)

9/2
cals: 1424
protein: 110 (-11)
carbs: 128 (little low)
fat: 54 (-6)

my numbers are a little low, but i will probably eat a little snack later to try and make up some. perhaps some cottage cheese and tomato, my favorite.

don't have time to write out all that i ate, but it's on thedailyplate if anyone is interested let me know.

I know this is last-minute, but that' ok b/c I only have 4 chairs. And most people don't like Scrabble. Some of you knew I was getting a couch delivered...thwarted! It didn't fit through the door. No couch

PRO: 83g (-20) Yikes. But high on fat so I'm not going to add whey.
CHO: 110g (-10) but an active day moving desks all around my classroom...
FAT: 71g (+20) Fitday must be wacky today.

Thursday, 9/2:

Protein:130g (+15g - due to the huge piece of tuna i ate for lunch. I wasn't planning on eating the whole thing, but I was hungry and it was good, and well, you know the rest...)
Carbs: 123g (-22g)
Fat: 55g (-3g)

In thinking about the BCCC challenge coming to an end, I am going to try to keep it up a while longer (maybe with one good cheat weekend in between!) and see how far I can take it. I've learned that, while I miss certain foods, it's not like I can never have them again, but I know that they're not going to help me in looking and feeling how I truly want to look/feel, and right now I'm more focused on that goal. I've learned from past experience that when I stop measuring/weighing, I tend to slack off more, so for me I think it's a must if it want to keep eating this way for a while longer. I won't be crazy about it (like bringing it to a restaurant if I go out) but I'll at least weight/measure what I eat at home, and control what I can. Even though it's annoying, the scale doesn't make my food taste any worse, and it has just become so routine that I don't really even think about it anymore. I've seen some results in this past month, and it's encouraged me to think about where I could be in 4 or 5 more months. It's satisfying to know that everything I've been putting into my body tastes good, but is actually also good for it - it's been a month of no food guilt, and I love that feeling! I also like that I'm not usually hungry, which is different than just about any other diet I've tried to stick to before. Now, if only I hadn't *just* moved into an apartment without a dishwasher....
