tuff stuff squat rack?

found a Tuff Stuff squat rack on craigslist for $300. have not came across this name brand before but while surfin the net, the only stuff by this company i have found is EXPENSIVE. that means its good right? owner says its in great condition, so if anyone knows anything about this companies products, or think i could get a better deal else where, i would appreciate the advice. thanks

What model? Lat attachment? Anything besides the rack -- weights, bars?

I have a TPR-265 with lat attachment and like it. If it's black and white, it's made in the US, otherwise China.

The stroke on the lat attachment is a little short, otherwise it's fine.

They also make a commercial line which is real nice.

yup, that is the same rack. it does not have any attachments to it though, just the rack frame. in the pictures they only show the one view, and i can see all the holes going up the rear pilars with the position numbers on them. are there holes on the front pilars also? does it have the ability to place the bar holder on the front oustide part of the rack so that you can pick up the bar from the rack and walk it away, ie to do snaches?

yeah it is a black and white one. it only has one pair of bar holders, with hooks only on one side. and they said the spotter bars do not have the bar hooks on the outside. i called a local tuff stuff supplier and found that to get another pair of bar holders that had the hooks on both sides would cost around $130. wonder if that would still be worth it?

I'd say you're looking at a $150 rack, or, at least thats what I'd offer if it's what I really wanted.

Personally, I'd wait for a better deal to come along.

I've seen these that look new -- like the picture I posted, for $300.

Some of these older ones used 2x2 post, instead of 2x3 also.
