G2 balls getting lopsided

Anyone else having problems with their Garage Gym Store balls getting completely off balance?

This is causing some serious problems with wall balls. It's kinda hard when you try to catch it and it rolls over your fingers and hyper extends or even sprains them.

These balls are only about 6-7 months old..I think I'll email G2.

My ball arrived off balance. Its very annoying when doing wallballs. I have to try and make sure I bounce it off the wall the same way every time so that it spins just right and l can catch it.

Re: G2 balls getting lopsided

We were for a little while - so we stopped using them as squat targets. After a little creative manipulation to get them back into shape, they're holding pretty well. Still a little off-balance but not so bad where anyone is complaining about it or getting hurt.

we have 10 of them, and they are all off balance. notice it in the 20's more than the 15's or 10's. but they are still way cheaper than dynamax

Cheaper, yes. But I still expect them to hold function for more than 6 months with their only use being wall ball work. I'm hoping G2 has some kind of mitigation plan for this because it's a terrible customer experience.

Re: G2 balls getting lopsided

Is it really throwing them off that much? Consider it like extra agility testing, much like when Fred Biletnikoff used to throw a football against a wall and tried to catch the rebound...

Re: G2 balls getting lopsided

We use them...Its from the squating and/or ball slams, as noted earlier. Before you use them, slam them against the ground a few times to "readjust". It just takes a little manipulation to get them back on track.
