Wooden poles equipment

I am in the process of building an outdoor obstacle course on our property. I'm dropping both soft and hardwood, and want to use the softwood on the course.

Any recommendation for using 15-20 feet softwood poles? I also will debark the poles to prolong life, and those I've used already and inserted into the ground, I give a good slathering of lexonite to prevent direct ground contact.
