I really hoped they would keep the weights out so I could see how far I could play. I was able to play with the weights left out on Friday from the team event.

Of course, I wasn't doing the 7.1k run but oh well. I just wanted to get some workouts in since I wasn't while at the Games besides ring work.

Could someone clarify something for me? Was there a $1000 entry fee for competing this year? Or did you just have to certify at one of the affiliate schools? I heard someone say you had to pay to enter and I wanted to set them straight, but I figured I needed to get the facts in order first.

any videos of the events? would like to see some of the deadlifts. also read about Speal's sandbag carry, any videos available?

Check the games site Rich, they have all kinds of videos and I remember seeing Josh lift 505 in one.

James, athletes had to qualify at the regionals and I think there was some registration fee which I'll guess was maybe up to 100 dollars as it was 50-75 for the regionals. Affiliate teams just came and paid their registration fee.
