Re: The Best Burger In The World

Hodad's does have killer burgers. $9 and worth every bite. Add an amazing chocolate malt on the side, then go back to your hotel and have a nap. But it's worth every bite and sip.

Re: The Best Burger In The World

Bob's Dairyland, Roan Mountain, TN. After spending 3 days hiking the Appalachian Trail we stumbled upon God's gift to burgers, "The Big Boss". Two 1/2 lbs beef patties’, lots of bacon, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions and it's signature piece, a thinly sliced piece of fried ham.

It's right on hwy 19E about 3 miles from the trail. This area is an awesome place to hike the A.T., and I will be more than happy to give more specific info if anyone is looking to do a 2, 3 or 4 day hike.

Definitely agree. As I was reading through, I was planning on posting Kuma's. The link below shows Kuma's Corner feature on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives on the Food Network. I used to go there before the show (even then the lines were long), but now the wait is insane and they stopped doing carry-outs. I've tried a bunch of different burgers and they were all outstanding.

Re: The Best Burger In The World

Hot Rod's BBQ in Lutz, FL (north of Tampa) has the Bubba's Big Belly Burger for $13. 1.5 lbs of beef, anti-Zone, anti-Paleo bun baked especially for them to accomodate such a huge burger by a legitimate Cuban bakery, all the fixins' (I go for the spicy BBQ sauce). They also have a 15 lb burger option for groups. Take like 5 hours to cook on the smoker or something. Also, they feature farm-raised bat and gator on the menu, so you know it's good.

Hey if you like that restaurant, go to South Lake Bar and Grill on Sundays. Its all the same menu and food but on that day, EVERYTHING on the food menu is 50% off.

They sure do have some good sweet potato fries.

Definitely In-N-Out Burger. By far the best. Get it Animal Style. But you can only get em in Ca, Nv, and Az
