Re: Sledgehammer/Burpee

oh geez. 100 burpees AND something else?

What was your time? That sounds like a Ross Training nightmare.

Nice. I'll be getting a sledge hammer soon. What was your time?

Re: Sledgehammer/Burpee

I did a similar one yesterday, but incorporated tire drags. I have a semi truck tire which weighs 125.

3 round for time of 40m drag (20m out, forwards, 20m back, backwards)
20 15# sledge strikes on the tire (10 left, 10 right)
10 burpees

6:27

I have a 10# sledge and I slip a 5# metal plate over the handle. It stays in place well on the rubber sleeve at the base where the handle meets the business end.

Re: Sledgehammer/Burpee

Tried a little combo of 10 sandbag power cleans and 10 sledgehammer strikes AMRAP in 5 or 10 minutes.

Will try the burpee one soon.

Re: Sledgehammer/Burpee

I did not time my workout. I actually did a few rounds, took care of my crying 7 week old son, and then went outside and finished the last couple of rounds. I will do it again in the future for time.

I tried this one today. I used a 117 pound sandbag, and a 10 pound sledgehammer. I got in 4 rounds + 1 sandbag power clean in 10 minutes. I liked this one a lot!
