Wow, that's amazing, what great facilities!

I don't want to jump the gun here (because I haven't even formally applied for funding yet), but I'm trying to start an olympic lifting club at my school. Do you have any advice you could share with me? I've pulled together some studies regarding the benefits and relative lack of risk involved in oly to make my case, but anything you could give me would be appreciated, thanks!

I'm working my way into the strength and conditioning coaches position at the private school I work for, and the first thing I'm going to do is catch a club coaches cert. from USA Weightlifting.

From there, we have 8 O-lifting platforms and enough bumpers to run workouts for 20-30 kids. At that point, I'm lucky because they're always up for alternative sports for the kids to participate in. I'd also love to hear any more info Coach B. has to offer!

starting a team is fun and rewarding. make sure you school them with pvc pipe for the fundamentals of lifting then gradually allowing them to move on to heavier weight a bit at a time. contact me if you want specific questions answered nd i will be glad to help all i can.
