He's worked extensively with Rick.
I've followed this thread for a long time but I don't understand why Rick hasn't circulated the program. I though he was going to release something last year but nothing came of it. I get that I can follow daily postings from Golden Empire but it feels like I'm missing a lot about the plan. What is the deal as to why Rick hasn't released anything?

The program is laid out at Golden Empire and on my site. The problem is that programs like Ultimate Advantage/Westside, are based on working on your weaknesses. So there is no one size fits all program. It is very hard to write a template when everyone has different weaknesses. That's why Rick does seminars, so everyone learns to recognize their weaknesses and work on them.

Hi Kevin,
The short answer to your question is that Rick is extremely busy coaching his own athletes, the West Point team, and conducting seminars all over the place. (He just got back from today a seminar in Panama.) Golden Empire is a good starting place, and like Paulo said, Rick's program is geared toward hitting your weaknesses, so there really isn't a "one-size-fits-all" model. The best thing you can do is contact Rick directly. (PM me for his phone number, if you'd like.) While he's busy doing big things, he can usually spare some time during the day to talk and get you going on the right track. Good luck!

Kevin,

Everyone hit the nail on the head. Rick is insanely busy, and seems to get busier by the day, and the template can vary so much person to person. Get in contact with him and/or go to a seminar. You won't regret it.

A quick update:

The great thing about the Ultimate Athlete Program is the adaptability. The basic template stays the same, you just tweak it here and there depending on what sport or activity you're planning on training for. There was a local Crossfit competition that came up about a month ago that I was planning on doing. I changed the template to a CF bias, and was really seeing crazy improvements in all previous CF benchmark wods. I ended up missing the comp due to work, but have done the workouts and I would have done very well comparing my results to the top 3 RX'd men.

A month after the CF comp that I had to miss, I found out I would be able to compete in a strongman competition that we had a member training for. Again, I switched up the template to a strongman bias, and started hammering my weaknesses for the competition. I ended up taking first place in the 175's (and would have placed top 3 in the 200's) and the other member took 2nd place in the 230's. Not bad for our first strongman competition!

A couple weeks later, and another member defended his title at the 100% Raw Powerlifting Worldwide competition, taking first place in the bench. He did bench only because he had hip surgery and is still working out some flexibility issues, but comparing his numbers, he could have taken first.

Switching it up again, in the last 8 days I hiked Mt. Whitney in 12"+ of snow (mountaineer's route) and the Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim, both in one day each. And yes, I'm still PRing all my lifts.

Later this year or early next, I should be starting to train another fire academy and will keep the updates coming.

What can a person do, that is unable to reach Rick? First because I am from Europe (a trip to his seminar would cost a fortune) and I speak english very bad, so talking over a phone would be rather hard too.

How can I alone find out what my weaknesses are?

Paulo:

The Back
This covers the spine erectors and the entire of the upper back. Thoratic extensions, front squats, pendlay rows, shrugs and the olympic lifts will cover everything.
Isnt the correct term: Thoracic Extensions? Do you mean these on foam roller?
