I did a search but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. Is there a resource (book, internet, etc) that lists the recommended daily intake PLUS what foods contain the appropriate vitamins and minerals? I follow the Zone diet but can't always stick to it. On those days, I want to be sure I supplement or eat the correct foods.

I hear, "you must take magnesium, zinc, etc." but never where to get these mineals. I know broccoli and red meat are great sources of iron. What foods contain magnesium, zinc, etc. I would rather get these minerals in their natuaral form. (I'm not only looking for mag, or zin. This was just for the example).

So, please let me know if any of you know of a resource that lists the vitamins and minerals and the recommended daily intake, and the actual foods where they can be found vs. just popping a pill.
