My outdoor/garage gym

Just wanted to show a beginning pic of my outdoor gym. I found that I was really not working enough on my weaknesses and needed a lifting deck at home. Of course once I built the lifting deck I became obsessed with wanting everything. I will post more pics soon. I am just really proud of the deck since I am a girl and have no experience building things.

This picture is the old roof, I decided to build a roof about 15ft high out of PVC pipe. Overkill... maybe, but I just get an idea and go with it.

I love it, the first thing I built was a deck and it snow balled from there. Good luck with it and keep us updated.

Hey Elizabeth...where did you get that pull-up rig you're using the rings with? Is it pretty sturdy? Ive been looking for a good one that won't shake and rock

Hello Ryan! The pullup bar/rings system is actually an experiment if you will. I wanted something portable so a friend and me welded this. (well, he welded it while I wore a tool belt and made myself look cool) It's sturdy enough for me if I put sandbags on it, but as a whole I think changes would have to be made if somebody heavier than me were to use it.

The cool thing is I am able to put it in the back of a truck and take it to the hills for some great workouts.

If you decide to do something like it think box frame.
