I think i've miscalculated my total intake of fat. I have not been counting the oil I use to cook my veggies & meats in... i'm assuming you should.

So, 1 tbsp of oil to cook some scrambled eggs + handful of nuts on the side, count them BOTH.

I have seen recommended somewhere before (pretty sure it was here) that you should halve the fat count of oils you use to cook to account for burn off. If using something that is stable at high temperatures (coconut oil) you can probably just count all of it.

How do you calculate oil that adheres to the surface area of the pan? :-)
