Increase weighted pull ups
Anyone know of a program or system to increase weighted pull up strength? I know about Armstrong for bodyweight but I'm looking to add lbs.
Thanks |

Re: Increase weighted pull ups
Weighted pullups I think would work with a linear progression - usually they are an assistance exercise but I think it would work the same way.

Re: Increase weighted pull ups
Linear progression for as long as you can, then something like 5/3/1 percentages. Or Armstrong with weights would probably do the job too.

FM or grease the groove would also work...

Re: Increase weighted pull ups
If you're dedicating your whole program to this, I say grease the groove with 50% reps of your max and with 50% of the weight used for your max 6-10 times throughout the day. Assistance exercises for your triceps such as DB roll backs or tate presses will also be a big help.
