Well today was my first Oly meet. I have been Oly specific training for less than 3 months and still have some nasty habits to rid my body of too! My coach
(wfs) is awesome, although he couldnt be at the meet today!
When he suggested this meet to me in early December, barely 2 weeks after we started together, I thought he was ridiculous! But hell I am always goo for a challenge.
Basically in the interim I have had some injuries to deal with as well that werent fun and sidelined me for a bit! Anyway, I decided to err on the side of caution today and protect my shoulder so I started quite conservative!
SN 22/24/26F (slight press out on injured shoulder)--kgs of course
CJ 32/34/37 (failed at 37.5 last week 2x!!)
My coach feel I will improve immensely now that my first meet is over and that my "early arm pull" is decreasing. Looking forward to Masters Natls in Savannah in GA!
Hey I weighed in at 62.1 kg or 136.62#. Not bad for a woman who was once a size 22 or approx 225#. Why 1.5 yrs ago I still wore a size 16--today a 4/6 and fit too!!
