I was just fooling around today, after almost of week of unloading. Almost ready to start a new cycle. My wrist had been hurting, but it felt fine, so I decided to test it out with HSPU. Flipped up against a wall, and I'll be damned if I didn't do 15 straight HSPU like it was nothing. I had a couple more for sure; didn't go to failure.

might not be a big deal for others, but this is huge for me. I thought I lost some shoulder strength, but I'm stronger in HSPU now than I have ever been.

Crossfit is sick.

Thank you Crossfit!

Hehe, now you have to go for the last CrossFit challenge -- 15 HSPUs on the rings. :-)

Congrats though that's awesome.

that's the beauty of this whole endeavor. once you reach a certain goal, you are only at baseline for the next one.

constant improvement is the name of the game.

Just last weekend I was messing around and popped up against a wall and BAM 8 straight HSPUs came out. I was like: "What? where did that come from?" Before then more than two and my head was pounding from all the blood rushing in. I guess most of it may have been from breathing better... but still.

Awesome job Andrew! Your post reinstills the need in me to master a freestanding handstand.

yeah, well, me too. the most free HSPUs I've ever done is 1. These were all using the wall for balance.
