Re: Marathon...done.

Thanks guys. It was fun, and now, 2 days after, I'm ready to hit it hard again. I feel almost completely back to normal already. I can't believe it. There is this voice in the back of my head now, saying "aww, you can do another one, come on!" Sheesh. My wife is gonna smack me if I tell her I'm doing another marathon.

Re: Marathon...done.

Congratulations on such an accomplishment, Michael. I did a half two months ago and have been contemplating a full marathon for awhile. Thought Id need a ton of extra training, but this is motivating me to re-think that. Again, congratulations!

Re: Marathon...done.

I have to admit, I'm intrigued by the idea of doing CFE and going for one. I've started doing some Olympic lifting, though, and I don't know how I'd incorporate running into those wods. I follow Max Mormont's programming at www.maxfitusa.com (wfs) It's a lot of volume, so I might be too tired. I also don't want to lose muscle that I'm building with those lifts. We'll see. I may take his to the end of the cycle and add in some more running, but I'm really having fun lifting right now.

Mike

Re: Marathon...done.

congrats.
A little bodyglide on nipples, armpit edges, and between thighs will prevent rashes and chafing.
A little running practice will dramatically shorten your time. CFE for example.
The better the runner the shorter the suffering .....
Either way good job.
