here they have them for 369 shipped. I could get a pendlay elite for about 400. man o man this is tough. The research shall go on. I guess I'd rather have remorse over spending extra money than have remorse over buying a cruddy rack
$369 would be a good deal but I'd contact Fringe and see if they can work something out with getting that plastic installed. (Though you can probably call BW directly and ask and just glue them on yourself, it takes 10 minutes).

You won't really go wrong with a Rogue S-1/S-4, Pendlay Elite, or a BW in my opinion. All will be solid bulletproof racks. The BW takes the cake for me for ease of portability and adjustability.

Re: Powermax Squat Stands?

Jeremy,

I know you can get spotter arms for the S-1. Is there something comparable for these other stands?

The Pendlay Elites have spotter arm attachments you can buy too.

For BW, they sell separate freestanding spotter racks, which I used to own and are definitely more stable and I would trust over any spotter arm attachment, but they are definitely more expensive (more than the squat rack itself).

However, I personally do not use them anymore because I prefer to dump the weight as opposed to lowering to safety arms. As such, I sold them.

For the S-4, or any independent squat stand, there will definitely not be an option for spotter arms. That is an accident waiting to happen.
