Re: My garage gym!!!!

I built an adjustable GHD set up, I am really loveing this thing. I use it on the ground mostly, but can use either sixe box to do sit ups, hyperextensions, or GHR's. The plate holder I made in about 15 minutes out of some scrap I had laying around. Anybody have any ideas for me, I am always looking for good DIY projects. I am going to weld up a dumbell rack in the next month or so.

What's the outer dimensions of your plate holder?

Re: My garage gym!!!!

Anybody have any ideas for dumbell/ kettle bell storage? I love the flat top design Rogue uses. I am just worried about putting 1500 pounds on something I weld.

Re: My garage gym!!!!

Great work on the place!

Dig the chains

Something to think about on the home made GHD. They were designed around a pommel horse so if you can figure out how to build something. I would suggest carpet foam and wood to build the pad!

Good luck

Bill

Post Re: My garage gym!!!!

What do you guys think about making a ghd half pommel out of a small ten gallon barrel of a keg kt in half. Seems like it would be solid, then you could just glue padding on it.

Re: My garage gym!!!!

Great setup Tim. I really like the grappling dummy too. I like your GHD too, it looks like something I could do. I'm just starting on my gym so it's nice to have some examples. I like the suspended ladder too, mine is just hanging on the wall most of the time. I like the pics of the kids too.
