First day

After years of training strictly for powerlifting and letting my fitness level sink into the toilet I had my first 1 on 1 with a trainer to get my acquainted with the major movements and I am absolutely 1000000% hooked all ready. 2 more sessions and I am released to the general public.

I didn't realize how bad my conditioning was until yesterday. Also have to say that I thought my grip strength was good...but grip endurance is terrible. My forearms are on fire today.

Can't wait to get back at it tomorrow!

Re: First day

Like the FSII bodysuit there, Phil. I still have my LZR body from 2009 in a closet somewhere with a hole in the knee

Re: First day

Officially 3 months in and got both my bar and ring muscle ups in the same week! Things are moving along well. Couldn't imagine doing anything else.

Re: First day

Congratulations. That is a big accomplishment. Not too many folks get ring muscle ups within 3 months. Keep working to advance with all the movements.

That's awesome!!! Keep on going strong!!

I'm about three months in also and I couldn't agree more, couldn't imagine doing anything else!!! I have an old elbow injury that keeps flaring up every time I try to stick a muscle up....frustrating, but I'll give it the time it needs!
