shoulder clicking

sooo my shoulder has always had a clicking noise occur whenever i do snatches or especially warm ups with arm rotations. It would happen a lot after doing butterfly/kipping pull ups (which i know thats probably the reason). Its not a sore feeling but more of just an irratating feeling. Would you think its as serious as the bone rubbing against the cartilidge or is it just more of a flexibility thing? Thanks for the help.

where is the "click" coming from?
I have clicks all over the place - mostly from arthritis.
The clicks I hear from my "shoulder" are actually coming from my a/c joint.

it feels and sounds like its coming from the rotator cuff/right where the arm connects to the socket... Is there anything preventitive i can do to help further this situation or whatever is going on?

see an orthopaedist who specializes in the shoulder joint.

My shoulder makes a clicking sound too. But then again so do my knees, ankles, toes, hips etc etc oh the joy of being over 40..

haha yeah, but heres the thing im 23 soooooo the clicking probably aint a good thing.. :\
well i ended up taking a rest day yesterday and today the clicking hasnt really happened.. i think its more of a when i put real stress on my shoulders it happens... especially with high reps of butterfly pullups because of how hard i fall and kip to go onto the next rep... i dono :\ i guess when i do shoulder movements ill just get a good rotator cuff warm up in before and keep note of it.

make sure you are hydrated (1 oz water / 2 lb bodyweight), consider trying glucosamine, and work on that mobility!
