I was looking at the latest CF Journal cover story. Is it just a coincedence that his facial expression improves along with his form? I think I have arrived at #3..The technically correct but "immature" support, however, my facial expression is still the "hit my thumb with a hammer" look from photo #1

I think perhaps he was playing up the facial expression, especially on the "everything is wrong" pic. :-) I've been doing the support holds every warmup for 10 days now, and I can get what I think is the mature hold (arms slightly away from body and rings turned out). Hopefully I'll be solid enough for next issue's skill.

I don't have a mirror, but I imagine that my facial expression is the same... perhaps because I'm not (yet) strong enough to do the holds easily.

This may be posted somewhere else but can someone post a picture of what the support hold looks like?

Nice points Roger *grin*. I have gotten more trouble in the last year for losing my points... stupid things are instinctive now. I can't sit around barefoot without pointing my toes *grin*.

Heh, yeah, if the foot is off the ground it's pointed generally. Too long has that been driven into my head. It's permanently imbedded.
