Curing Pull-up Asymmetry

I recently returned from a 4 month afloat deployment. There was only one pull-up bar on the ship. It was makeshift, and was canted so that the right side was higher than the left by about 10-15 degrees. Now that i am back on land and using a horizontal pull-up bar it seems i developed a wicked asymmetry between my right and left sides. I now have an obvious counter-clockwise torque in my torso throughout my kip.

Any recommendations on how to address this asymmetry? One-arm pull-ups? Thanks!

Re: Curing Pull-up Asymmetry

Do pullups with the strong arm holding a towel wrapped around the bar. Most of the pull will come from the arm on the bar. It's a technique for developing one arm pullups.
