Cooking veggies for the whole week.

I do not like vegetables, but I have learned to eat them. A problem I have however, is preparing enough for the week. Whether I steam or stir fry they are okay after I cook them, but dried out and icky when I reheat in the microwave.

Any advice on how to make the veggies okay reheated?

Soup. Or chop raw vegetables for salads. If you just steam them, then reheat, they're likely to be a bit funky.

Do you have access to a freezer and microwave at work? I've been just bringing in big bags of frozen veggies to work and heating them up in a Pyrex bowl at lunch time. Takes about 4 minutes on high. For sheer convenience, you can't beat it.

i get these packs of veggies at the grocery store that are individually packaged and you just throw them in the microwave and they come out all tender and tasty. its been working for me the past month or so, the veggie choice is limited but im a simple guy.

Re: Cooking veggies for the whole week.

I think I am going to start going salad sometimes. Learning to eat raw vegetables has been a process for me haha.

Good idea on bringing pyrex and frozen vegetables to work, I should be able to do that. On Saturday/Sunday I work 12 hour shifts and can't leave the building. So I essentially bring in food for 3 meals, which can get to be a pain. Not having to cook them once beforehand may help.
