Deadlift Grip

I started doing deadlifts about two months ago and I have been using the same mixed grip setup ever since I started. Recently, I heard that constantly using an identical mixed grip will, over time, create a strength/muscle imbalance in the upper back and potentially lead to an injury. I was just wondering if there is any truth to this concept, or if the idea is nothing more than a stupid rumor. By the way, itís good to finally be on here with everybody, and I look forward to any future discussions we may have.

Re: Deadlift Grip

Yes, switch it up. There is at least an extra stress on the supinated arm. You can keep the lighter sets with double overhand until you have to switch.
