Re: Video Games

Another gamer here.

My list of faves includes all iterations of Doom, Half-life, Quake, FEAR and the likes on the PC, Burnout and Guitar Hero on the XBox 360.

I'm more of a casual gamer, going through phases, as I already have too many other hobbies.

Re: Video Games

Been playing games since Atari, lol.
I just quit playing World of Warcraft a couple months ago. I was in an end game raiding guild, and it was taking up waaayyyy too much of my time. I was a human tank if anyone cares

I just finished playing Assassin's creed. LOVED IT. Can't wait for the next version. I hope the speculation is true, and you get to play in feudal Japan as a ninja type character. Partially cause that was my martial art of choice, partially cause ninjas are just cool, lol.

I played COD4. Finished the single player in 2 evenings. I used to play hardcore, and now only sometimes, on a COD2 sniper server. Been playing in the =[XS]= sniper clan since COD1.

Other than that, Guitar Hero, Tiger Woods Golf, SOCOM......

Maybe all the above is why I currently suck at doing exercise?

Re: Video Games

COD4 is a great game but my brother says that Rainbow Six:Las Vegas is even better. I don't know, I didn't play that one.

Currently I'm studying a lot so I don't get to play much but lately I've been playing Chessmaster:Grandmaster Edition and GRID (best racer ever!). In a couple of hours I'll finish downloading Mass Effect, I think that'll keep me busy for a while along with Grid.

Re: Video Games

Aside from the extreme problems with Mass Effect PC (lots of lockups/restarts, which is annoying enough but I'm getting REALLY TIRED of sitting through the "logo movies" at the beginning which you can't skip) I'm very pleased; it's a well-put-together game. They just really need to fix the lockups; it's pretty unacceptable (and from the forums, it's sure not just me...)

Re: Video Games

I have my PC for Sim City, RTS games, and Spore soon! My PS3 for any good title (MGS4 tomorrow!) and a Nintendo DS for when I'm at sea (so convenient being Navy). But yeah, I've been gaming my whole life. Started on Commodore 64, lol.

Yeah, I quit my raiding guild when it started feeling more like work than my regular work did. (I had a lvl 60 human priest named MD)

I just add to my list that I'm now playing Starwars: Knights of the old republic

The first version, I heard a second came out lately, surely I'll buy it
