Those who have taken the NSCA CSCS exam, how hard was it?

Right now I am 400+ pages into my strength and conditioning essentials book(3rd edition), and will probably complete it this weekend. Without looking back for answering the questions, Im usually averaging 80-100% on the quizzes at the end of each chapter.

I know the test is two parts, one a video analysis and the other written. I'm wondering what they will use for the analysis and what I will have to write down?

Anyways, my test is december 6th and I just really want to nail this down and pass it.

Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Re: Those who have taken the NSCA CSCS exam, how hard was it?

I took the test years ago, so it may be different now, though I doubt it. There are no trick questions. All the info is in the text. If you know the text, you will do very well. 80-100% on the practice questions sounds to me like you will be ready. The video analysis portion showed various exercises being performed, usually with one main fault. Then you answer a question or two about the "faulty" exercise you just saw. I remember thinking the test was very fair (nothing misleading).

I hope it is from the text as well. Some questions are tricky, but when I go back and reread things they make sense.

On page 500+ now, hope to finish tomorrow or monday.
