Re: What is your monthly budget for food?

Emily i have a small deep freezer and its possible, to slice your food bill with one. I wouldnt recommend putting it outside as it will have to work hard to keep stuff cold.( making your power bill goes up) but i just stuff in a corner and use it as counter space.

then fill it with what ever I can stuff in there.. I pre do meals in bulk.. buy bulk fruits and freeze them, I have frozen cherries in jan .. yes you can buy them at traders.. but, every nickle saved eventually comes to a dollar.
freeze up soup stock from old chicken, fish, and beef bones.

Look on should be able to find one.. but make sure its not too old as it will need someone to look at it if more than 3 years old.

Btw as gas goes up... the whole food chain pricing will raise as well.. the more you can stockpile.. the longer you can stretch out.
