Exercise Intolerance. Nausea, elevated heart rate and more

Here is a post from one of my athletes today on FB. He has been to the doctor literally dozens of time over the course of his life for this issue. It doesn't matter what type of exercise it is, it all makes him sick.

"So my exercise intolerance reared its ugly head today. This is something I have struggled with my whole life. It has kept me from maintaining a regular work out routine my whole life. When this happens I typically become very nauseous (usually vomit) elevated heart rate and excessive sweating. Then followed by a soured stomach that can be accompanied by diarrhea. The soured stomach and nausea last all day. I've decided that regardless of this issue, I'm going to continue to push through this. My hope is that it will get better as I get healthier."

He is now fairly overweight and needs to get healthy.

I am hoping someone on here has come across this issue themselves or with someone they train. Thanks in advance for any thoughts and input you may be able to provide.

Jake

May be having a vagal reaction. Also possible - some people doing prolonged strenous exercise can get transient ischemic bowel which can cause pain, diarrhea, and sometimes rectal bleeding.
Can go to GI doc and ask if he or she thinks this is possible
