Questions on Calf and quad conditioning following ACL Reconstruction

I'm recovering from ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair. I'm 27 years old, I had a pair of Allografts for the double bundle procedure, a meniscus repair on the medial and lateral sides of my meniscus and I'm trying to do this as safely as possible because I don't want my graft to fail. This is my 8th week post op and I'm now trying to strengthen my calf and quad so that I can protect the knee as best I can. I was wondering if anybody has any suggestions for me or if anybody has experienced this situation and might have a warning or two for me to take note of. I've already learned of a few nice quad exercises from the forums, like sitting in the rollerchair and pushing backwards from Mike's forum, so I'm optimistic that I might find some others. Thanks

Did you not get a RX for physical therapy?
