Pricing used equipment

I am selling all my gym equipment and need advice on how to price it. Most of it is up to seven years old.

Re: Pricing used equipment

It may work differently in the US but as long as you list it in sets that make sense to the typical garage gym guy, you can easily get 60-70% of retail.

Things such as a single set of "Rack + bench + bar + weights" kinda thing.

Obvoously it dependson how the gear looks, but bumpers and racks etc tend to hold their value.

You can try to sell it as one whole set, but you'll find fewer are looking for everything and this forces you to have alower asking price.

However, with the sell it in smaller sets option, you can be left with stuff that doesn't sell easily.

It really depends on where you live and what you have to sell.
