Has anyone had to train someone with this injury? If so, any recommendations on what not to do and what to do? Thanks

Re: metatarsalgia

Currently, I'm suffering from mild metatarsalgia - I also have a neuroma in my right foot that acts up at times. First, I suggest seeing a podiatrist who treats athletes. Second, get fitted for "good" shoes or at least use metatarsal pads to cushion the area. Feet are a definite problem area and it pays to treat them well - if not they can get worse and problems can crop up in your knees, hips and low back. No, I'm not a podiatrist (Chiropractor actually) and I routinely refer patients and myself to a local podiatrist. This is a usefull link at the Mayo Clinic (w/f/s)
