DL PRs, mondo thrusters, and handstand success. You got it going on these days.

10km LSD

Thanks Veronica, Alix, Patrick, Jennifer, Matt and Christin! It feels awesome to feel some heavy weight around. It felt especially good when the biggest guy in the gym (as in built - not heavy) came up to me and told me I was deadlifting the same weight as him and gave me a high 5 (I don't completely believe him based on some of the weight I've seen him throw around on other exercises, but still ) and then I walked into the other room and saw two guys decked out in Navy PT DLing less than half what I was.

I like the picture Matt, but something seems a little off in your pose...

As awesome as it felt to move some weight around yesterday, stairs, getting out of chairs, walking and most other activities didn't feel quite as good today. I decided to do the 10km run anyway just to loosen up. My time wasn't great, 58:02, but I pushed as hard as I could and my legs do feel a lot better now that I've finished and stretched. I lost a bit of time chasing down a guy on the street who dropped a bill. I thought it was a 10 when I first saw it but when I looked closer, it was a 100. I'm really glad I saw it fall; it would have sucked for him to loose that much money. I can't really blame my time on the chase though - it was mostly the fact that I couldn't walk right when I started running that slowed me down. I'm sooooo glad tomorrow is a rest day.

HALF what you were DLing?? Now I'm the one that's REALLY impressed!

Yeah, I figured the "pose" thing was for the ladies and I don't want to steal the show (another when I think about that EVER happening!) or anything. I hope tonight or tomorrow I can get the wife to get another picture of me actually doing a Burpee that turns out well for the avatar.

Your DLs are awesome!

Re: Chantal's Workout Log

Well wasn't that nice of you to give the man back his money. It is sad to think that most people these days would have pocketed that $100.
