Too much carbs, barely any vegetables, an okay amount of fruits, too much processed food. I also sleep about 5-6 hours a night due to schoolwork. February 19th
Today was okay. I've come to a realization that I'll explain later. Back Squat 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 40x3x5 95x5 135x3 170x1 200x1 225x1 240x1 250x1 260x1 270x1 280x1 (This was quite tough, but I might have relaxed a little in the bottom. This is my current PR, but I was a hell of a lot deeper on this one than the last time I hit it.) 285x3x(f) (Rep 1: Chest dropped. Rep 2: Closest rep to standing up, but just couldn't get it up. Rep 3: Came backwards, couldn't stand up. I capped it at 3 attempts, I figured I would start to get tired anyways. Oh well.) I actually intended to hit 300# today, but was surprised. The last time I hit 280 was in the first week of December. I've come to start thinking that I need to switch up my programming a little. I had Tamara Cohen write me up a template that includes squat, cleans, jerk, and snatches 2x a week, pressing/deadifting once a week, and 2 conditioning workouts a week, with three rest days. Ill post it up eventually. I need to workout with my coach how I'm going to work it into his Fitness class. I'll figure something out. Anyways, waited about 20-25 mins, then: Team WOD: 50 Thrusters @135# 75 Overhead Walking Lunges @45# Plate 100 Burpees Time: 16:00 This was fun, my buddy was over so we did this together. Thrusters: 20:30, Me:Him. This surprised me, but I was happy. I thought I'd be doing all singles. This took us the longest OH Walking Lunges: 45:30, Me:Him. This went well, we went up and down a part of my street. Burpees: 50:50, Me:Him. These were fast. Something I've noticed is that I can knock out fast sets of 10 burpees even if I'm tired, which is good. Anyways, to sum it up: I was happy with the squat, the wod was good, and I need to change my programming. |

After that, hung up the rings and did some skill work. My triceps were sore enough that I could barely lock out MU's, but my Iron Cross progress is a hell of a lot better than it was over the summer. My MU's are a little bad now though. I just need to get in some more work with them. |

Forgot to mention, no wraps were used.
I think I really only need them to push press, bench, and squat. |
