Nice work!!! I am on my way there too, but its taking a looooooong time! (I would make it there sooner if I dieted down to 215!)

Anyways, congrats - no small feat there!

Yea, that's a pain. But think of how much stronger your 2xBW will be compared to some other people!

December 15th

Today was awesome. Light and fast, and I got into my garage early today, and was out by 6 (Usually on Thursdays I get IN around 6:30)

120x1 (My buddy was going before me and I didn't want to get cold)

(2xBW PR ! I guess it's just a really good week!)

240 was heavy, and I had 280 in the back of my head but did not think I would hit it. Video up tonight or tomorrow. Fixing my stance last week helped like crazy. Even 270 had a flat back, it was my grip (for the most part) that was limiting me in my worksets.

Also, head on over to my buddy's workout log that he just started. I train with him once a week, and he'll be updating it from now on.

I just saw the video of your 280 DL, nice work. I am telling you, next time you dead lift, work up to 300. That pull was pretty smooth, and didnt look that difficult for you. You have WAY more in you!

Nice Deadlift Dan.

Nice PR's all around lately. Like Milton said, the pull was smooth. With a little more aggression you have 300 in you. Keep it up.

Back was flat on 270, I didn't put enough effort into keeping it tight after 280 got off the ground, but my buddy said there was minimal rounding.

Getting it off the ground was tough though. I can hit 300 next deadlift cycle, I know that much

December 16th

Both a good day, and a bad day. Good because training went well. Bad because I was supposed to pick up a Model B rower for $175 and the deal fell through . Anyways...

Time: 8:55

Bench was tough. First round was 10-5-3-3 (I think), then 4, followed by all singles and doubles, with a couple triples, for the rest of the workout.

My coach said this was from CFFB yesterday, and it was fun. I have never really played around with benching in a metcon before.

Impressive. Your progresson OHP amazes me, it's always been a nemesis of mine. Just hit 127 for a PR, after being stuck at 126 for months.

You up for a friendly competition? First to hit either 2.5xBW deadlift or 1xBW OHP.

You're a lot closer on the OHP, and I'm closer on the DL. BW is 145, just hit 335 on DL, so I need about another 30 lbs... honestly I've only been adding about 5 lbs a month to my DL lately.

Sure, I'm up for both. I think both will kill me, as I need 10# more for OHP, and 70# more for DL. I don't even own over 315# (Including the bar) in plates yet, but when I hit 300 on something, I'll buy more 45#'s.

December 18th

Today was lots of fun. Trained with Jared (The guy whose log I linked to a couple posts ago), so we took about 3 hours to get through everything .

Back Squat 5-5-5

40x3x5
95x5
135x3
170x1
170x1 (Didn't want to get cold while Jared was warming up, did a couple extra singles here and there)
195x1
210x1
220x5 (1 Rep was above parallel)
230x5
240x5
(PR . I should have been able to hit 250#, but that will be another day)

Waited about 30 mins because I had to do some yard work, and then did a modified version of a CFFB WOD from a couple days back.

1 min on, 1 min off
20 KB Swings @20KG (American Standard, all the way overhead)
Count up penalties at the end (1 Penalty = <20 Reps per min on), 10 burpees per.
80 Swings, No Penalties

This was lots of fun. Had a pushing grip and switched to a pulling grip on round 3, forearms hurt so good by the end.
