Hello everyone,

I just got back from New Orleans and Katrina about a week and a half ago, and tonight I am in Houston with TN Task Force One again waiting for Hurricane Rita to make landfall (sometime around 2 a.m. tonight). I am really getting ready to see my family and spend some quality time with them. These deployments have given me a new and broader appreciation for you guys in the military. I have always had great respect for the military, but I really don't know how you guys can handle being away from your families for so long.

I'll post again when we get demobed.

Jim

I hope that all is well down there in Texas Jim. I have a client in Beaumont and I wouldn't be surprised if I have to go dry out their server next week.

Thanks again for your work my friend. It's good to know there are folks like you out there.

I live in between Katy and Houston and all we got was about a half inch of rain and winds about 50 to 60 mph. Spent two days boarding up my parents house and getting ready. The main problem is there is hardly any gas anywhere and will probably be like that for several days. I am glad that is all I can complain about.
