Nano 3.0 Vs Nano Speeds

Anyone use both of these shoes yet?
I have a pair of Nano 3.0's but find for running, jumping and Double Unders I am getting shin splints wearing them.
Are the Speeds any better for this type of an issue?

Thanks for any info...

Wayne

A lot better, but I'm sure you're aware of that. Sounds like you just want someone to confirm for you.

I don't like my 3's much at all.

Thanks Jeremy,

I have not tried the Speeds yet. Was looking for opinions from people who have.
Thanks for your reply.

Re: Nano 3.0 Vs Nano Speeds

The nano's might be the worst shoe to run in of all time. While they are a crossfit fit, im thinking they are more or less just to get you buy with small runs in wods.

I think the speeds are a step up for sure, but there are better options i feel. such as invo8, merral, NB, and even the original crossfit shoe the reebok realflex. And most of these can be found for cheaper.

Re: Nano 3.0 Vs Nano Speeds

I'm lucky enough to have an awesome wife who supplied me with both the speeds and 3.0's. I can for sure say after a few months the speeds are by far a better running shoe than the threes and feel a lot more like a traditional running shoe/are super comfy. With that said the are a lot squishier in the heels as far as lifts go. If a WOD has zero or very light barbell movements and is heavy on the run I'll go for the speeds that day. When weight/kettle bells/squat movements get involved I'll wear the 3.0's. At the end of the day they're just shoes and just a tool but there's nothing wrong with being comfortable during a WOD either!
