I recognize that I'm shooting a little low with that right now, but I've been a complete mental midget about snatching over the last few months.

If I can hit 225 anything after that I'll be happy.

Yeah!!!

I had a bad year on 2012, lots of outside factors got in the way of me reaching my goals, determined to push through whatever comes this year!

Goals:

Get my weight down to 215, right now around 240
Learn muscle-ups, C2B pull-ups OK, ring pull-ups OK, ring dips OK, just gotta string it all together! I took about half an hour one class last year to work on pistols (I had never done them before) and made it happen. Just need to do it!
Top 400 in Canada West in the Open, this is only about a 150 spot increase, but I have spent most of the last two years on strength - which has nothing to do with the open! Id also like to get a WL meet or a PL meet in this year, and a few more CF comps as well.

Lifts:
Clean and jerk 300#, at 245 now
Snatch 225, at 185 now

I am a beginner in these lifts now and have a great coach at my box. I am expecting big things from myself here!
Deadlift 500, PR is 485 now but its been a while since I have put any work into the DL so I have to build it back up from about 425
Squat 450, now at 440, with the amount of time I spend squatting, this should happen quickly - IT BETTER!
Bench 300, at 290. I like my chances here! This is another soft ball Im tossing at myself.
Body weight strict press, PR is 210 now, this will go up, and my weight will go down, hoping to meet in the middle somewhere.

after being out of heavy lifting for 6 months in 2012, I'm ready.
2013 goals:

C&J: 315 (245)
snatch: 225 (175)
squat: 405 (275) Technique
DL: 525 (475?)
Press: BW+ (175?)
Strict HSPU x21
get freakishly strong in general....

9 1&2 months left (or something like that)

Alright here goes

220lbs snatch (at 200 now)
285lbs C&J (at 235 now)
300lbs Clean (at 265 now)
405lbs Squat (375'ish? now)
450lbs DL (425'ish now)

and 1000+ CFT

Actually, I do have real goals, and one large overarching goal, but of exercise-specific goals I have 2, maybe 3. I am working on:

1 - 100/130 oly total (turns out this was easier said than done)

2 - Muscle Up (I think I can get one on a bar as soon as this weekend)

maybe 3 - Close COC #3 (I can get the 2.5 once, but I havent put too much effort into getting to the next level yet, not sure Im committed to this one yet)




Tho they arent 2013 goals as much as ongoing goals, and when I hit one I will find one to replace it. I try not to work toward too many things at once. If I hit the Muscle Up this weekend I will have to figure something out, maybe some kind of press...

First, get elbows healthy.

Then, continue goals from 2012 that I didn't make:

Press 140
Squat 345
DL 425
C&J 230
Bench bodyweight x5
HSPU
MU
Walk 15 ft. on hands
100 unbroken DUs
