Also, what about those who program for your box? Ive thought about just keeping it on notepad on my phone so I can program from anywhere, but again i can't let go of the notebook.

Thanks!

Re: WOD log- paper vs. technology

I've tried two different electronic log books for my WODs. And both times I went back to paper. Maybe I'm a dinosaur, but it is just faster, easier and convenient to reference past WODs. And I need to admit, I use a fountain pen. Ancient technology.

Re: WOD log- paper vs. technology

Thanks Greg.

The main reason Im thinking of the electonically is so I can program whenever I have a few minutes and didnt expect it , like waiting in line somewhere, or waiting for a train to pass, or a movie to start. Something like this.

But I know if I use paper then I can always look back to it later on. We dont know how long these apps will be around.

Paper at the gym so I don't forget anything.

And then log it on blogger.com (wfs) later so it's there forever and I never lose it or run out of paper.

Tried doing it electronically too, but went back to using stone and a chisel. Too lazy to get on my computer or phone right away after a workout.

I keep mine online. That way, it's always open to constructive criticism and feedback. Unless people want to break into my house to write notes in my book.

I used paper forever but I figured I would catch up with times and now I use excel for all my mountain biking stuff, lifts, runs and crossfit......in the long run it much easier IMO.

Re: WOD log- paper vs. technology

I just started using an app called "WODZilla". So far it seems pretty user frieldly, but I'm sure I'll get frustrated with the tech soon enough!
