Another home gym...

It's complete other than purchasing a 2 pood kb and some iron plates to supplement my bumpers. I think final cost for everything is a little under 2k. $75 model c off of CL helped and the fact I work 10 minutes from Muscle Driver (scratch and dent room) eased the cost too. So what I have is:

-Pull up rack built out of 1" black iron pipe, T'd out so I can squat and bench from it.
-GHD bought new from CL
-Model C used from CL (needed new screen)
-Rings new from Amazon
-Stall mats from a playground refurb near my house (free)
-360lb in bumpers from Muscle drivers scratch and dent room
-3/4 pood, 1 pood, 1.5 pood kb from Muscle drivers scratch and dent room
-Rage 20lb med ball new from Muscle driver (2nd most expensive purchase for 1 piece)
-45lb and 5kg bars from Muscle drivers scratch and dent room
-20/24" plyo box scratch and dent
-clock gone bad scratch and dent
-home made 20/25/85 lb slam balls (yes, 85lb. got carried away)
-nautilas bench, legacy piece

Overall really happy with how it came out. Especially the pull up/squat/bench rack.

Nice setup. Lucky to be near Muscle Driver and benefit from scratch and dent pricing.

How do you like the bar setup? Does it flex at all?

I built pullup and ring bars with 1" pipe mounted through the ceiling to a framework in the joists. Solid, but I can still feel some flex in the pipe.

Thanks Troy. No flex at all. I think I have enough connection point into the studs and into the floor that its not going anywhere.

The Muscle Driver scratch and dent room is one of my favorite hang out spots...

I live near there too (Charlotte). Can you just go and look around? Where exactly do you go?

Hey Craig, they're down near Carrowinds in a big industrial park. You can just stop in during business hours from 7-4 monday through friday. 460 Greenway Industrial Dr Suite J Fort Mill, SC 29708. It's been slim pickings lately, although they've had a few 3 pood kb's sitting back there....

Jacob - how far out does the pullup/rack extend out from the wall? Any chance we could get a side shot?

Ben it's about 26" out from the wall:

Here's a side view:

I added the foam pipe insulation just in case of a not so graceful hspu dismount.
