After 2 months of cross fit, my RHR is 66bpm…

First, some back ground info. I’ve had a very high RHR my entire life. From about age 14 to 22 my RHR was in the mid 90’s. When I started to run and get into the longer LSD runs, my RHR got into the low 80’s. I thought that was a success.

Even in February when I had my pre-deployment screening, I had an 82.

Today I had a medical screening, and I had a 66. This is after getting fairly worked up about my boss’s BS, and having a Diet Pepsi. Not even my “true” RHR.

I’m just simply amazed that Crossfit is doing so many incredible things to my body. Thanks Crossfit. : )

Also, in the last 4 months, my Blood Pressure dropped from 129/95 to 114/80. I’ve also dropped 24 lbs and about 4-5% body fat. Feeling excellent.

Thanks again. You’ve changed my life.

I noticed the same thing

I've always had high RHR and normal blood pressure but after 6 months of crossfit my RHR was 62 and BP 110/55.
