Linda and scaling

Hi Guys & Girls,

I have tried looking but am new to this forum so not sure where to look. Is there a search function?

Is there a set protocol for scaling down linda (or any other WOD for that matter) or is it just how the individual feels. First Linda today and only scaled clean a little. Was thinking of just scaling the deadlifts to body and clean to .50 body leaving the bench as body. (didn't seem to have that much trouble with those). The cleans were what nailed me. was lifting .50 body and haven't done them for a while.

Cheers

A

Re: Linda and scaling

Brandx posts scaled WODs everyday if you need them.

Read the FAQ (in yellow above this thread) and use the search function which is to the right of it.

Re: Linda and scaling

I'm of the opinion that you should scale the WODs based on your own limitations. There isn't a one size fits all solution. This is especially true on a WOD like Linda which will highlight any upper/lower body strength imbalances. There's no reason to scale down the work on one bar of death just because you are incapable of doing the prescribed work on one of the others.

was only thinking of scaling the dead as well to get through it but i will crack on with just scaling the clean and deal with it.

Thanks again
