Re: TUF 10 - heavyweights

Brock also beat Randy. I think it was a good move on Dana's part

Re: TUF 10 - heavyweights

Man Rampage has no luck. He's just not a good coach.
Then again he kind of said it at the end "We can't have these guys perform like us. They're green. They can't do a lot of the stuff we can."
I think he's just now realizing that, whereas before he didn't. It seemed before he was expecting these guys to have the knowledge he has and perform like he can. That's why his coaching from the corner was limited because generally he knows what to do and was probably sitting over there wondering why they didn't.
Now maybe he's realizing "Well these guys don't hit as hard as me and they don't wrestle as well as me."

Re: TUF 10 - heavyweights

Agreed that Rampage just does not seem like a good coach or corner man (though not as bad as Shamrock, lol). And I have to agree with Rashad about Rampage's team abandoning their fighter after the fight. It looked bad. The guy really did not do that poorly either.

I like the fact that they are not focusing so much on pranks, trashing the house, etc. this season. Some of that stuff is just ridiculous and makes MMA fighters look like a bunch of dumb, drunken thugs. I can do without the Junie's of the world.

I came here to say just that.

Just "lack of experience" and/or general fear about Brendan's experience.

Re: TUF 10 - heavyweights

And the crappy fights continue! Maybe they are just really one sided because Rampage is that bad, but I would think that some of them would have skills already and the coaching wouldn't be that big of an issue. I mean, I walked in the kitchen to get a drink came back and the guy was out! Holy crap, Rampage, you did a bang up job picking your fighters!

Well, it can't get any worse, or can it?

some of this has to be editing - but can it all be?

Is Rampage really doing that with his team? Terrible. He's right. He is a fighter, not a coach. Yeah - your guy lost (well, all of them have lost, actually), but walking away from the cage before a fight is done, not going into the cage when your fighter tapped, and not going into the cage when your fighter is actually choked unconscious? Incomperhensible.

Dude... show a little respect.

Too bad we'll have to wait so long for match up between Rashad and Rampage... looks like that one will be serious!
