CHAMP/ACSM Guidelines for ECPs

ECP: Extreme Conditioning Program

Attached is an executive summary (totally WFS) from a recent workshop sponsored by the DoD to address issues brought about from the increasing popularity of ECPs throughout the service branches.

Guidelines are not enforceable or punitive, but hopefully more than a few physical fitness leaders will read and heed, because what good is it to implement an otherwise sound conditioning program if unsound training practices render troops to be non-deployable?
