Re: Introducing Girlfriend

There are a host of auditory responses that are appropiate for the first time you enter a box.

Re: Introducing Girlfriend

my wife has watched me train since high school, 4 years ago, and she has never done anything physical. now that she has started to gain some weight she asked if i could help her, and she already has quantitative goals, for example, do a pull up, complete a 5k run, and DL her bodyweight. She made the goals and gave herself ample time. So i started training her and we did basic movements, squats, step ups(she has trouble jumping on 18"), lat pulls, and push ups, and before she even is halfway through the 1st set of squats she looks at me like she wants to rip my head off!!!
She then leaves and says she never wants to do that crap again! However, she came up to me and apologized and said its something that she WANTS to do and that she will give it a second attempt without being a pain in the a$$
So i am going to have her do some basic body weight things and run for the first couple of weaks with specialty work on the complex movements.

Addendum: "No way can I do more than one round of this."
