I'm sure that mother nature in the Northeast (negative temps, crazy humidity) was cruel to the Klokov Bar en route to Washington, but that's no reason for you to have a non-rocking product.

Stand by, give me a little patience, and I'll have you squared.

Best,

Jon,

Thanks for the great customer service. I bought my first "real" barbell ever from you guys, and will continue to, because of replies like this.

I wasn't meaning to imply that I wanted a replacement or anything like that - I just mentioned the sticker falling-off in the interest of transparency. And yes, I'm sure your wacky weather could certainly mess with that adhesive.

Thanks again.

Re: AF/Klokov stuff

I've had my bar for about a month or so now.
The spin is way better than a bushing bar.
Knurl is pretty soft in my opinion.

Has anyone else noticed a knurl inconsistency?
It seems like the centre knurl and in between the IWF and IPF marks are more aggressive knurl than the other parts on the bar?

How does the 2.0 bar stack up to the klokov bar and heck even a traditional bushing bar.

So what're your thoughts on it? Regrets?

No regrets considering it was free....
The bar spin is wicked smooth. My only beefs are the knurling is a little inconsistent, I prefer more grip (I own a Chan Bar), knurling it doesn't go to the collar and I prefer to not have a center knurl (nice raspberries on the neck from it)

Again that is my preference. I would be really curious to try out a Team 2.0 bar. I am curious on its knurling and spin in comparison to the klokov.
Its a beauty bar though.....

Re: AF/Klokov stuff

I, too, noticed the difference in the knurling. Still a great bar, spins so smoothly. AF is replacing one of my old bars with a new Team 2.0 this week (15kg), but I might try to post an update to show how it compares to the older bar and the klokov bar.

Re: AF/Klokov stuff

Two Comments:

1) After 3 weeks of use, I really like this bar. Granted, this is my first bearing bar, but the spin is incredible compared to a bushing bar. The knurling is very good; I didn't like the knurling the first day I got it, but with use I'm liking it more and more. I do agree that the center knurling seems slightly more aggressive than the rest (don't know why), but I don't mind it at all.

2) In my first "review" post I mentioned that the end-cap sticker had fallen off in transit, and wasn't super upset about it (just mentioned it for full disclosure), but Jon from AF responded on this forum that he would take care of it. Seemed like excellent customer service - and I have had excellent customer service from AF before - but I haven't heard a word from him in 3 weeks. Was the post on here just meant for good PR for the company? I'm happy with the bar either way...
