Here's a video of myself doing some no false grip muscle ups:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-iA-qC9pLQ

I saw that Matthew Nielsen made a comment, so I decided to show the rest of ya.

I can't maintain a false grip on these rings very well like I could with my homemade ones that had a much thicker handle, so I found out that I can just flip my wrists over real quick and I don't need to use one.

Once you can hop through the transition phase you can do this. Nice work Neal.

Nice work Neal, those looked really good. I wish I had enough ceiling clearance to do ring MUs where my rings are hung.

I'll get some video on the straight bar tomorrow of me doing the same thing. I too have problems maintaining the false grip. So screw it...just go OH grip

Nice work Neal! I had the same issue when I switched from my home-made rings to the Elite rings. I 'solved' it by wrapping the rings with tennis racket grip which allowed me to maintain my false grip better. I'll have to try it your way. You make it look easy!

OK...on the bar:

I'm way out of practice on the rings, I need to find someplace I can hang mine outside and work 'em.

Yeah, on a bar, straight grip is all I can manage...I feel like I'm purposely breaking my wrists trying to manage a false-grip!

Good job guys! Maybe I'll try and capture the vid of my L-muscle-up on the straight bar if I can figure my camera out :D

An "L" MU? That's sick Jesse. You've gotta get that on tape so we can see it.
